KIMBLE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Kimble County Commissioners Court will convene in the County Courtroom of the Kimble County Courthouse, 501 Main Street, Junction, Texas 76849,

at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.

AGENDA

1.  Call to order.

2. Convene meeting and establish quorum.

3. Consideration and approval of minutes of preceding meeting(s).

4. Public comments are welcome. Please limit comments to five minutes or less.

5. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding status of county roads and related matters, including report by county road supervisor regarding road conditions, maintenance and repair.

6. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding changes to the county policy manual.

7. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding request(s) for 911 addressing and name(s) of private roads.

8. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding sub-division plats, if any.

9.  Consideration and approval of bills and accounts and authorization to pay bills and accounts.

10. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding amendment of the budget to conform to authorized revenues and expenditures.

11. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding court order prohibiting outdoor burning in the unincorporated area of Kimble County.

12. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding David Whitworth’s request to replace one or more cattle guards located on KC 372 with bump gates.

13. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding resignation of Patricia Borland as Precinct 7 election judge and appointment of Dennis Armstrong to fill vacancy for remainder of unexpired term.

14. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding reappointment of Ann Lemon, Marvin Snodgrass and Don Baugh to the Kimble County Library Board.

15. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding application and grant management services for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program.

16. Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding Kimble County’s monetary obligations to West Texas Rural Counties Association Risk Management Pool for underwriting profit/loss.

17.Commissioners Court will convene in executive session for consultation with County Attorney regarding legal issues arising from Kimble County’s monetary obligations to West Texas Rural Counties Association Risk Management Pool for underwriting profit/loss pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071. No action may be taken in executive session.

18. Adjournment.
