ORDER ADOPTING TAX RATE FOR YEAR 2009

COMMISSIONERS COURT OF KIMBLE COUNTY, TEXAS

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Kimble County has complied with requirements for public notification of a public hearing on the budget and has held a public hearing concerning the proposed budget for Kimble County; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Kimble County has complied with the publication and notification requirements concerning the effective tax rate and rollback tax rate for 2009/2010; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Kimble County has complied with the requirements of Texas Local Government Code Section 152.013 concerning compensation of elected officials; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Kimble County has adopted the budget for the County for Year 2010 at a public meeting of the Court by appropriate official action as reflected in the minute of the Commissioners Court, with Commissioners Billy Braswell, Charles McGuire, Tooter Schulze, and Wylie Taff voting “FOR”; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of Kimble County has adopted the tax rate $0.3140 per $100 of value for the County by appropriate official action as reflected in the minutes of the Commissioners Court, with Commissioners Billy Braswell, Charles McGuire, Tooter Schulze, and Wylie Taff voting “FOR”; let it be known that

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the Commissioners Court of Kimble County that the tax rate of $0.3140 per $100 of value be adopted for Year 2009.

FURTHER, state law requires the following to be included in this Court’s Order:

“THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S RATE.”& amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; amp; lt; /div>
